WTD Industries Expands to North Africa Through Strategic Partnership with Morocco’s ALQUIMAROC
WTD Industries has officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with ALQUIMAROC, a prominent Moroccan company in the scaffolding and construction sector.
Under this agreement, ALQUIMAROC becomes the exclusive agent for one of WTD’s factories, as well as several other products that align with the needs of the Moroccan market.
In a strong start to the partnership, the first shipment was successfully exported on February 1st, with total exports expected to reach hundreds of millions of Egyptian pounds by the end of the year. This step aims to enhance regional trade ties and support the construction sector with high-quality, durable products.
As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, WTD Industries inaugurated its latest roll forming facility in 2024, backed by an investment of EGP 130 million. In parallel, the group also injected EGP 650 million into the industrial real estate sector in the same year—reinforcing its strong commitment to supporting Egypt’s economy and industrial growth.
This collaboration further strengthens WTD’s export capabilities, opening doors to new markets across North Africa. It adds to the group’s expanding global footprint, which already includes successful operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, India, Palestine, and Sudan.
Eng. Mostafa Bastawisi, Founder and Chairman of WTD Industries, commented:
"We are pleased to announce our strategic partnership with ALQUIMAROC. This move represents a major milestone in our regional expansion efforts and aligns perfectly with our mission to provide innovative industrial solutions to emerging markets."
"Our vision is to significantly grow our export portfolio in support of the Egyptian government’s national objective of increasing global exports. We are committed to delivering world-class solutions that elevate the construction and infrastructure sectors," he added.
From the Moroccan side, Eng. Mohamed El Omrani, Chairman of ALQUIMAROC, stated:
"We are thrilled to join forces with WTD Industries. This partnership will help strengthen our presence in the Moroccan and broader African markets through collaboration with a trusted industrial leader like WTD."
