Scaffolding accessories

SPECIFICATION

Purpose Scaffolding accessories complement primary scaffolding elements (pipes, frames, and planks) by providing stability, connectivity, and access platforms, essential for safe and reliable scaffolding.

Common Scaffolding Accessories

  • Base Plates Flat steel plates providing a stable foundation by evenly distributing load, typically 150 x 150 mm, with a weight of 1.2 to 2 kg.
  • Adjustable Base Jacks Level the scaffolding on uneven surfaces with a threaded rod, height-adjustable from 0.5 m to 0.7 m, supporting loads of 5-10 kN.
  • Universal Jacks Inserted at the top of standards for height adjustment, with a U-head to support beams, capable of handling loads of up to 10 kN.
  • Couplers (Clamps) Connect scaffolding pipes
    • Right-Angle Couplers For 90-degree connections, weight 1-1.5 kg.
    • Swivel Couplers For angled connections, weight 1.3-1.5 kg.
    • Sleeve Couplers Extend pipes end-to-end.
  • Steel Planks (Scaffold Boards) Horizontal platforms for workers, ranging from 1.0 m to 3.0 m in length with anti-slip surfaces.
  • Access Brackets Attachments for platforms and ladders, handling loads up to 1.5 kN/m², spaced no more than 1.5 m apart.
  • Lifting Eyes For safe lifting of beams or panels using cranes, made from forged steel.
  • Spigots (Vertical Connectors) Connect pipes vertically, enhancing alignment and stability.
  • Toe Boards Edges to prevent materials from falling, typically 150-200 mm in height, secured to frames.

Advantages

  • Safety Enhances worker safety with toe boards, access brackets, and couplers.
  • Stability Base plates, jacks, and braces secure the scaffolding.
  • Versatility Supports various scaffolding and shoring needs.
  • Ease of Use Quick assembly for efficient site setup.

Applications

  • Scaffolding Platforms Provides stable work surfaces.
  • Shoring Support Works with formwork to support concrete during curing.
  • Access Solutions Offers platforms and safe pathways at different elevations
